The Sales Manager TAVI & Cardiology PCI will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of our clients TAVI products in all Nordic countries.
This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and providing clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals.
You will be based in one of the Nordic Countries and report to the Nordic Country Manager.
Key responsibilities / Task:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share for TAVI products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and hospital administrators.
- Provide technical and clinical support to sales team and clinical experts, ensuring the safe and effective use of the products.
- Conduct training sessions and educational programs for healthcare professionals and internal team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nurse, Radiographer or Biomedical Laboratory Scientist
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in medical device cardiology and/or structural heart.
- A proven track record of achieving sales goals and growing revenue.
- Preferably 2-5 years of sales management or leadership experience, with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities,
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive sales performance and improvement.
- Knowledge of the medical device market, products, and regulations, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing customer needs and preferences.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory and region, and occasionally to other locations as required
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and trends, and provide feedback and coaching to sales reps.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate sales reps, and ensure they comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and influencers, and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential customers, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay updated on the latest market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and events, and promote the company’s brand and reputation.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Nordic and elsewhere
General qualifications:
- Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory and fluent in one Scandinavian language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other sales tools and technologies
- Driving license
