The Area Sales Manager Endo-Surgical will drive sales growth and market penetration of our clients Endo-Surgical products in the region.
This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and providing clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals.
You will be based in Sweden and report to the Nordic Country Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drives business growth by delivering on budgeted sales objectives while adhering to organizational polices.
- Reviews and discuss action plans for achievement of sales budget each month.
- Create and implement plan for conducting promotional activities, develop CRM strategy, and ensure effective execution of marketing strategies from time to time in order to achieve objectives through sales.
- Map potential of territory and relates it to market trends and competitors’ activities
- Profiles, assesses potential, prepares target list and enlists new doctors as per business requirement.
- Collaborates with government sales teams to ensure product availability and demand generation at the different institutions.
- Builds consistent, long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in assigned territory by involving them in scientific engagements at regular intervals and through effective coverage at right frequency.
- Follow up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a timely resolution.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in Life Sciences or Biotechnology.
- Minimum of 4 up to 14 years of pharmaceutical | medical devices sales experience.
- Relevant therapeutic experience in areas such as Wound closure, Hernia solutions, Endo-mechanical Wound closure and Biosurgery is highly preferred.
- Excellent decision-making and strong financial management skills.
- Be an agent of change management.
- A proven track record of achieving sales goals and growing revenue.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities,
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive sales performance and improvement.
- Knowledge of the medical device market, products, and regulations, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing customer needs and preferences.
General qualifications:
- Fluency in written and verbal communication skills in regional language. Intermediate level of English. Good written and verbal communication skills as appropriate
- Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay(s) according to business needs
- Driving license
