For our client Admix situated in Fredensborg, North of Copenhagen we are seeking a Managing Director to take over the full responsibility of the European operations.
The Managing Director is responsible for the overall operations of Admix ApS which includes its recent addition subsidiary Diaf Pilvad-ApS to ensure company goals and objectives are achieved. Working with a growing leadership team, the Managing Director’s responsibilities include overseeing sales, office administration, engineering, finance, manufacturing, production, materials/scheduling, quality control, and information systems.
The Managing Director is a strong collaborative leader with a strong sense of urgency, ability to influence, and hold staff deliverable for deadlines, act as a mentor/trainer, be process driven and organized, and has superior knowledge of manufacturing and engineering disciplines.
Please note that a strong engineering and production background including MD experience are required for this position.
The Managing Director position is a part of the global executive leadership team and reports to the CEO in the United States.
Key responsibilities / Task:
- Working collaboratively with his/her leadership team, oversees all aspects of Admix ApS/Diaf Pilvad including sales, office administration, engineering, manufacturing, production, materials/scheduling, quality control, and information systems
- Participate in the development, planning, coordination, and implementation of the overall business plan for Europe, including organizational structure, capital budgets, new products, enhancements to processes and technology, and future expansion
- Establish yearly goals and objectives for all direct reports designed to bring success to the organization and monitor progress towards reaching those goals on a quarterly basis
- Develop and monitor annual budget with guidance from US finance operations
- Develop and monitor internal processes to ensure that customer needs are met
- Understand and train others on the company’s ERP and CRM systems and the transactions that affect customer fulfillment, finance, materials, production, and forecasting
- Develop and qualify European vendors to allow products to be built in Europe
- As revenue and growth permit, take the necessary action to add the appropriate resources to the organization and ensure that the resources receive the proper orientation, training, and support
- Create a positive team environment to foster a culture that attracts and retains top talent
- Establish team goals and objectives, measure performance, provide feedback, develop talent, and foster personal accountability
- Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrate excellent visionary leadership
- Work closely with the US teams on transaction requirements
- Take pride in employee engagement and work with the US Human Resources department and Ownership Crew to foster a pleasant, fun, and highly productive work environment
- Work closely with the US engineering department to ensure our products meet European design standards and guidelines

Education and experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior leadership level in organizations with international operations in manufacturing
- Preferably Managing Director experience
- Master degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred

- Strong leadership skills have to be demonstrated
- Experience with turnaround is to be demonstrated / as an advantage
- Excellent and demonstrable skills in written communication
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional level
- Strong experience from a WW operating organization
