We are recruiting a Sales & Market Manager to a unique position in the cosmetics industry in Finland.

The company in Finland is at part of a Scandinavian group (established in 1987) with 125 employees and is the leading Distributor / provider of well-known and handpicked professional skincare and makeup Brands. In addition, the Group owns the leading privately-owned cosmetology schools in Norway and Sweden.
With more than 30 years in business, the company have great experience and work progressively to create new tools for knowledge and growth. Together with partners in beauty salons, spas, perfumery, department stores and e-commerce companies, they provide increased knowledge, quality and service.
Take responsibility for the future growth in Finland
As the country manager for Finland, you are given both an operational and strategic role with responsibility for leading a small but dedicated sales team as well as creating and developing good relationships with customers. More specifically, this means that you are responsible for sales, marketing and growth targets for the Finnish market with the various brands in the product portfolio.
An important part of your role is also to implement and execute an ambitious sales strategy. You will have the KAM responsibility; with customer meetings, negotiation with chains and with relevant major customers (Kicks, Stockmann & Sokos as well as online shops). In addition, some brands are sold to Spa, Cosmetologists etc. The overall goal is to generate further growth through current and new distribution, development of existing brands and new brands.
Develop a strong market position and a committed sales team
As Sales & Market Manager you create a strong team spirit as well as a professional department with huge growth potential. You are a supportive and committed leader with operational tasks. You work closely with the marketing department and customer support in Stockholm – and refer to the Managing Director for Finland and Sweden.
Do you have the skills and drive to succeed?
- We expect you have experience from a position in the cosmetics industry or similarly combined with good experience from strong brands.
- You have leadership skills and strong business understanding as well as experience in developing brands and distribution, and you are expected to have a large network in the industry.
- You have the basic IT skills and able to analyze results.
- You are willing to travel to Sweden (1-2 days per month) to meet with colleagues and management.
- You are a skilled KAM / Sales Manager who is prepared to take full responsibility for all activities in Finland.
- You thrive in a private business with a dynamic and informal dialogue and short decision-making process
Passionate and presentable profile with commercial understanding
As a person, you are passionate, structured and driven by developing sales and creating results. You are interested in what is going on in the cosmetics industry and you are strongly motivated by combining a strategic approach with operational execution and follow-up. You challenge the status quo and create a close, motivating and unpretentious dialogue both internally and externally. Finally, you are a strong relationship creator with analytical sense, and you will work purposefully to spread our exciting brands.
